vnextcast processes information needed to operate cloud playout for broadcast operators. This policy describes what we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to your organization.
Information we collect
| Category | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Name, work email, role, tenant ID | Authentication, support, billing |

| Billing | Plan, usage meters, payment references | Invoicing and contract fulfillment |
How we use data
- Run encoding, delivery, and ad-marker pipelines you configure.
- Provide dashboards, alerts, and audit logs to authorized users.
- Improve reliability and support — aggregated metrics only where possible.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
Sharing
We use infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, CDN, payment processors) under agreements that restrict use to providing the service. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Retention
Account and configuration data are retained while your tenant is active. Stream and SCTE-35 logs are retained per your plan (typically 30–90 days) unless a longer period is contracted. You may request deletion of an account subject to legal and backup constraints.
Your choices
Organization admins control team access in Team settings. Contact us via sales for data access, correction, or deletion requests for your tenant.
Security
We use encryption in transit, role-based access, and monitoring for the production environment. No method of transmission is 100% secure; report suspected incidents to your account contact promptly.
