Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2025
These Terms govern your use of the vnextcast cloud playout platform and related services. By creating an account or operating a station on the platform, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your organization.
1. Service description
vnextcast provides multi-tenant broadcast playout, including scheduling, encoding, stream delivery (HLS, SRT, Zixi), and SCTE-35 ad-marker insertion. Availability targets and support tiers are described in your order form or enterprise agreement.
2. Account responsibilities
- You are responsible for credentials issued to your team and for activity under your tenant.
- You must provide accurate contact and billing information and keep it current.
- You may not resell platform access without a written partner agreement.
3. Content and rights
You retain ownership of programming, ads, and metadata you upload. You grant vnextcast a limited license to process, transcode, and deliver that content solely to operate the service. You represent that you have rights to all content you schedule and that it complies with applicable law and your carriage agreements.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the platform to distribute unlawful content, circumvent DRM without authorization, overload shared infrastructure, or probe systems without permission. We may suspend streams that pose security or legal risk after notice when practicable.
5. Fees and changes
Paid plans are billed per your order form or enterprise agreement. We may change list prices with 30 days’ notice; committed enterprise terms prevail for the contract term. Overages (egress, additional stations) bill at rates in your agreement.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, vnextcast is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from service use. Aggregate liability for claims in any 12-month period is limited to fees you paid in that period for the affected tenant.
7. Contact
